Shania visits the UK to do the photoshoot for FHM (For Him Magazine) at a London Studio.
FEBRUARY
COUNTRY MUSIC INTERNATIONAL - Interview and Cover Story.
FHM lists Shania has one of the Top Ten Babes to watch out for in 1998.
VALENTINES DAY - Shania performs live on the UK National Lottery Show.
She sings her new UK single 'You're Still The One'.And shows us her new hairstyle!

FHM (31st) - Shania Interview/Poster/Lovely Colour Pictures! This is possibly the most exposure Shania has got in the UK so far. This is the UK's best selling Men's Fashion/Lifestyle Magazine.
APRIL
APRIL FOOLS DAY (1st) - Nick Barraclough annouces on his New Country Show that Shania and her Husband Mutt are looking for a new home in Switzerland. (..at first i thought this was an april fools joke!).
TV HITS Magazine - Two small articles appear in this Teen Pop Mag.
RADIO TWO Country Club annouce Shania may be a guest on next weeks show.
MAY
(6th) Shania comes on over to London to record Shows and Interviews.
RADIO TWO Country Club (7th) - Pre-recorded Interview with Shania in London yesterday.
FRIDAY NIGHT'S ALLWRIGHT (8th) - Shania sings WHEN Live and reveals to Ian Wright (England Soccer Player) that she supports Spurs and loves to come to England so she can see them play!(pre-recorded)

JUNE
WHEN is released as Shania's new UK single.(1st)

THE BOX Music Channel (12th onwards...) - Regular re-runs of a pre-recorded message from Shania. She talks from her hotel room about her new UK single and the Video FTMO.
NOVEMBER
21st - TOP OF THE POPS 2 - Shania appears on TOTPS 2 singing FTMO. (pre-recorded)

17th - One of the contestants on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire gave Shania fans a suprise when he was asked what he would do if he won a million - his answer? He wanted to take Shania Twain to see The Villa! (thats a soccer team for those of you not in the UK).
28th - Shania live in Dallas goes out to millions of people in America. (lucky lot!)
OCTOBER
1st - Shania's Top of The Pops appearance is shown again.
1st - Q Magazine comes out. Shania on the cover and large interview Inside.
3rd - Man! I Feel Like A Woman! Number 3 in the Official UK Singles chart. Come on Over stays at Number 2 on the album chart.
23rd - Shania Performs 'You've Got A Way' on The National Lottery Live.
26th - Shania films her Top of The Pops 2 Special.
SEPTEMBER
3rd - Shania Interview and Pictures in OK! Magazine.
10th - Shania shown on Top of The Pops singing Man! I Feel Like A Woman!
(this is suprising because MIFLAW hasn't even been released yet)
11th - Shania Interview and Fashion photoshoot in The Times. Beautiful new pictures in alot of animal print that we have become used to.
15th - Man! I Feel Like A Woman! video is shown on Top of The Pops 2.
20th - Man! I Feel Like A Woman! released in the UK. Shops are stocked up and ready.
21st - BMI Awards take place in Nashville, Shania takes home two for You're Still The One.
22nd - Shania attends the CMA Awards in Nashville. Wins International Achievement Award and The big award of the night, Entertainer of The Year. Parties on down with Nsync and Ty Herndon after a trip to Krispy Kreme donuts!

On the 22nd September In Nashville, Tennessee, Shania was presented with Entertainer of The Year Award at the Country Music Awards!
The wonderful Reba McIntyre gave a tearful Shania her award.
"I'm embarrassed that I'm crying, but it's just such an honor"
- Shania said. She also Won a special award For International Achievement In Sales Award.

1st - September Issue of FHM comes out, suprising us all, Shania's on the cover! New photo's taken just the day after her concert in London and a new very cool, Interview.
18th - Shania is Interviewed live on GMTV in the UK and sings her new single Man! I Feel Like A Woman! Later she records her appearance on the Des Oconner Show.
19th - Shania records Top of The Pops, singing Man! I Feel Like A Woman! Shes also performs an extra version for the Christmas Special and another TDIMM.
20th - Shania's performance of Man! I Feel Like A Woman! is shown on Des Oconner show, but sadly they don't show the interview that was recorded.
26th - MTV Europe take a look at the Birthday Messages to Shania on our website! Live.
28th - Shania's Birthday! (various fans around the globe celebrate)

6th - Shania played concert In Glasgow
7th - Shania played concert at Birmingham, NEC
8th - Shania plays concert at Wembley Arena
10th - Final Concert In Dublin, Ireland.
MAY
10th - That Don't Impress Me Much is released in the UK.
16th - UK TOP 40 POP CHARTS. Shania at No 3 (stays at No3 for 3 weeks then drops to 4)
APRIL
Shania came over on a 3 day promotional visit.
27th - At the premiere of Notting Hill in Londons Leicester Sq.
28th - GMTV Interview by Lorraine Kelly. (9am)
29th - Top Of The Pops - Shania records two appearances in front of a live audience for when her songs hit the charts. That Don't Impress Me Much and The New Notting Hill mix of You've Got A Way.

Shania's new UK single 'That Dont Impress Me Much' is released by popular demand in Europe.
FEBRUARY
That Don't Impress Me Much Video is shown on Top of The Pops 2. It is also shown on a regular basis on VH-1 Country in the UK.
JANUARY
Shania on BBC Radio 2 GIRLS AND GUITARS. (Pre-recorded).
NOVEMBER 2002
COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS - Shania performs and presents an awards on the evening. Shania appears in the US women's magazine Redbook .
18th - UP! Released in the UK and Europe.
19th - UP! Released in the USA and Canada.
OCTOBER 2002
Shania returns! News of her new single I'M GONNA GETCHA GOOD begins to flood the internet and further news of a new album called UP! delights fans worldwide. And by the end of the month Shania has made live appearances on TV shows in Germany, Holland, Sweden, France and the UK. Her guitarist BB covers the whole events in his diary!
SHOWS APPEAR ON: UK and French FAME ACADEMY . Singing her new single live and giving the young hopefuls some advice and encouragement, Shania seems the perfect choice to have on the Fame Academy. (Live 25th October and previously on the 24th)
Shania also makes appearances in the UK on PARKINSON , CD UK (On Saturday 26th Shania recorded 5 new songs for the show... to be aired later). Shania also recorded the same 5 songs for TOP OF THE POPS (24th October). Shania also appeared on GMTV very early one morning being interviewed. (sadly missed by me... if you taped it please email me and let me know!!) Shania and her band were at all recordings. Missing from the band was Allison Cornell due to her other work commitments.
Shania also appeared on Capital Radio and did various trips around the UK promoting apparently... were you there? Did you listen to the Capital radio interview? Please contact me if you have any further information.
US Magazines continue to cover stories concerning Shania, Including TV Guide US and TV Guide Canada . Marie Claire also does something and so do NOW magazine in which Shania talks about her friendship with Britney Spears. Shania is also getting lots of coverage on CMT in the USA.
AUGUST 2001
Shania gives birth to a baby boy who they call Eja.
MARCH 2001
On March 22nd Shania's PR annouces to the press that Shania is pregnant! Finally the rumours are put to rest. March 23rd newspapers The Sun and The Star break the news but also say that Shania is already four and a half months pregnant.
FEBRUARY 2000
Shania and Mutt visit London on a short break. They have a night out at the Theatre, they spotted by a Sun Newpaper Photographer on their way in to see Swan Lake.
JANUARY 2000
10th - Shania singing Dont Be Stupid (Dance Remix) shown on TOTPS.(taken from the special)
Throughout the month DBS new video is shown on The Box and MTV.
12th - Lies about Shania appear in The News of The World and The People.

Brooksides Claire Sweeney (aka Lindsey Corkhill) In January 2000 Issue of UK Mens magazine MAXIM claire says she would like a smooch with Shania! "If you were going to make me snog one woman I'd have to go for Shania Twain. I love her music and she looks fantastic as well."
For those of you unfamiliar with Brookside - It's a UK Soap. (And snogging is slang for kissing!)

Shania appeared on Rise TV, Ant and Dec, CD UK and TOTPs promoting K-Ching! On April 19th Shania sang her new single Forever and For Always live on the National Lottery Show.
JULY
SHANIA ON TV - July 4th
Shania Twain joins Patrick Kielty on Friday.
Meat Loaf will be playing the show out with Couldn't Have Said It Better.
Patrick Kielty Almost Live will be on BBC ONE at 10.35pm on Friday (4 July 2003).
Shania also recorded a live session for Radio 2 in July and some lucky people got to see the show.

it was sooooooooooooooo brilliant!!! shania was amazing, she is such
a great performer!! we had to wait ages, and i thought the supporting
acts (bjorn again, and the mavericks) were quite rubbish, but when
shania came on, i was so overwhelmed, i nearly started crying, but
then i just started laughing and everyone was looking at me like i
was crazy!!!
she did 3 or 4 songs from The Woman in Me. from Come on Over, she did
You're Still the One, From this Moment On, Man! I feel like a Woman,
Don't be Stupid, That dont Impress Me Much, Honey, im Home and Rock
this Country. From Up! she did Up, Im Gonna Getcha Good, Shes not
just a Pretty Face, Juanita, Forever and For Always, It Only Hurts
When Im Breathing, Nah, Kaching, Thank You Baby, In My car and When
You Kiss me.
there were fireworks in some of them and at the end, when she did
Rock this Country, which was really good.
she invited this boy called josh, who was 11 up on stage cos he was
blowing kisses at her! she got a photo with him and signed it, which
was really sweet, and there was this raffle thing where you donate
money to the NSPCC and then you got a ticket, and she got the winner
up on stage, and got a photo and signed it again. she was trying to
tell us which charity the money was going to, but she couldnt
remember the name!!! (national society for the prevention of cruelty
to children.) she did her "are you ready london?" thing, which i was
waiting for!
the weather was amazing, the whole thing was just perfect!!
i sang so loudly that i was already losing my voice by the 5th song,
and i just shouted the words out for the rest cos i couldnt sing!! by
the end i couldnt even speak, but wow!!! it was worth it!!! The band was
absolutely amazing too.
